Logan Verjus van Beek, is a Dutch-New Zealander cricketer, who was born on September 7, 1990. He represents Wellington in New Zealand domestic cricket and has been a member of the Netherlands national cricket team since 2012. He is a right-handed right-arm fast-medium bowler and bats right-handed.
Van Beek made his international debut for the Netherlands in the 2012 Clydesdale Bank 40 match against English county Essex. Due to ICC rules, he had to wait three years after playing for New Zealand to be eligible for the Netherlands, so he was forced to compete as an overseas professional.
The 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh was his country’s first significant international competition, and on October 24, 2015, in the Plunket Shield, he got his first-ever first-class century. He won his first 10-wicket match haul in first-class cricket in November 2017 during the 2017–2018 Plunket Shield season.
He scored a hat-trick for Wellington against Canterbury in the Plunket Shield’s round six in March 2018. He was Wellington’s top wicket-taker in the Plunket Shield in 2017–2018, with 40 dismissals in seven games.
