In a press statement signed by the Campaign Spokesperson James Agyenim Boateng, Mahama is said to have stopped all campaign activities with immediate effect.

“The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr John Dramani Mahama, has suspended his six-day campaign tour of the Ashanti Region with immediate effect, following news of the passing of former President Jerry John Rawlings. “Mr Rawlings was an iconic figure and found of the NDC”, the statement reads.
Meanwhile the 2020 elections is coming off on 7th December 2020.
