However, statistically, Malaria is the number one cause of death in Africa. Typhoid fever kills more infants than any other infection.

But for some strange reasons, Africans have grown anxious and weary of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This somewhat needless uneasiness exercised by most African nations and the knee-jerk reaction to its prevention has left Shay Shay astounded.

According to her, more attention must be given to these infections: Malaria and Typhoid since these two kill more Africans than any other known disease.

She Tweeted:

“So wait… is corona virus more deadly than malaria? And why cant our government do something about malaria and Typhoid that people seem to be getting every week out here? Or is that just a WHOOOOLE ‘nother story??

“Ok, so its contagious BUT is it more deadly? This one that everyone is forgetting that people have been and are still dying from Malaria and typhoid… daily! #jedimindgames”
