The Amasaman Police have arrested Asiamah Daniel, 23, for attacking a lady at gunpoint at Adikopa Sonitra, a suburb of Amasaman.
On September 15, 2020, the lady was returning from work when she was accosted by Asiamah Daniel and one Kojo, who managed to escape arrest.
The lady was almost home when suddenly the two criminals emerged from the nearby bush and attacked her with a locally manufactured pistol.
They succeeded in robbing the victim of her ladies’ bag containing an amount of GH₵ 300.00 and other personal items.
The victim raised an alarm that drew the attention of residents leading to the arrest of one of the suspects after he was rescued from the mob attack. He mentioned his accomplice as Kojo and they both came from Osuhuiman to attack targeted victims.
All items have been recovered.
