You are over believing everything you see on social media.

I was admiring a young lady on Instagram for years because of how beautiful she looks on the grams.

Anytime she posts new pictures and videos, I will be in her comments section telling her how I love her beautiful and glowing skin.

This continues until we decided to meet at the mall to hang out together and her look was totally different from what I have been seeing on Instagram.

I was just looking at the pictures and comparing them to her real-life look and it was totally different.

A good camera and great filters make people look so beautiful and charming on social media but in real life, they are not.

You look better in real life than those people who you have been admiring on social media.

A lot of people grow up with many insecurities that range from their physical likeness to everything in between.

A 4-year-old girl was getting her hair done on Instagram live and she looked into the camera and said: “I’m so ugly”.

The heartbreaking moment resulted in a beautiful conversation with her hairdresser followed up with.

She reassured our Lil sis that she was beautiful, and encouraged her to start thinking that way of herself too.

This is a teaching moment that reminds us to continue to build up our young kings and queens so that they can grow up with self-love.
