He won four-time first-team All-Foothill League selection and 2009 Foothill League MVP while he was in school, graduating in 2009. He played college golf at the University of California, Berkley on scholarship, earning a degree in Consumer Behaviour.
Homa was named a first-team All-American and to All-Nicklaus Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
He won the Wells Fargo Championship for the second time in May 2022.
