A Ghanaian Medical Laboratory Scientist was wrongfully arrested by some ‘unprofessional’ Ghanaian Police officers after they found some of his working tools (Needle and Syringe’ on him.
The young man recognized as Omanhene Kwabena Agyemang Yeboah disclosed in a popular Facebook group, Trotro Diaries that he met the Police officers between Mamponteng and Aboaso doing some search on passengers.
He added that when it got to his turn, the officers found some working tools on him and tagged him as a ‘risky person’.
Omanhene Kwabena Agyemang Yeboah further said he was handcuffed for no reason even though he managed to show the police officers his ID card among other documents.
Out of frustration, he called his lawyer to talk to them and upon realizing how clean he was, they started playing mind games on him by saying he sounded rude towards them.
While aboard their car, he overheard them discussing some bribe moves. He angrily quizzed whether they are on duty to protect the nation or to collect bribe.
The actions of some Police officers are just making their profession to be tagged as unattractive and one full of bribery and corruption.
