A few Ghanaian celebrities such as Medikal, Sista Afia, Donzy, among others who understand the pain of losing one’s pet has consoled fellow musician Kuami Eugene after he lost his dog Lokki to malaria.
Kuami Eugene while announcing the death of the dog to his 1.3 Million followers on Instagram wrote:
“With Deep Pain I Announce The Death Of My Dog Lokki?. She passed away this morning after getting sick of malaria and was undergoing treatment. Her One Week Celebration Will Be At Cockpits Coming Saturday. To All Friends and Sympathizers .”
Soon after his post, a few trolls came mocking him that why should he be crying over a common dog?
But Medikal in the comment section wrote: “Sorry bro. I feel your pain. ☹️”
Songstress Sista Afia also added: “This pain ehh ebi different…sorry bro?”
A few other followers commented reminiscing their own experience of how they felt when they also lost their dog in time-past.
