Top Rank was successful in getting Conlan’s signature despite opposition from a number of illustrious promoters and rumours that a deal had been reached with Mayweather Promotions.
Conlan will make his professional debut on St. Patrick’s Day at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Bob Arum confirmed on September 23.
On March 17, 2017, at the Madison Square Garden theatre, Conlan technical knocked out Tim Ibarra in the third round.
His first triumph in a professional boxing match. On August 3, 2019, Diego Alberto Ruiz was his opponent. In front of a sizable crowd in Belfast, Conlan’s hometown, he ended his opponent in nine rounds to continue his professional winning streak.
Michael Conlan Children: Meet son Luisne Conlan
The parents of two of the children are Michael and Shauna. 2015 saw the birth of their daughter Luisne, whose Irish name translates to “Little Flame.” The younger brother of Luisne, Michael Jr., was born in 2018.
Because Luisne is still quite young, not much is known about her. We are hoping that as she gets older, she will keep us informed of interesting events in her life.
