A competitive American eater, Michelle Cristeen Lesco was born on September 16, 1983. By consuming 30.75 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes on July 4, 2021, she defeated Miki Sudo to claim the title of 2021 women’s champion in the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Michelle Lesco obtained an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Eastern Arizona College in 2003, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in history and sociology from the University of Arizona in 2012, and a teacher certification from Pima Community College in 2014. She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Arizona.
Before triumphing in the 2021 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, Lesco placed second to Miki Sudo in the competitions in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Since the competition began in 2011, she is the third woman to have taken home the Pink Mustard Belt.
