Mona was a good student growing up and displayed applaudable academic performance and earned several acknowledgements for that.
She was a regular evening classes student at City Literary Institute in London where she studied for two years. She later earned a scholarship to the Royal Academy Dramatic Arts ( RADA ), where she graduated in 1964.
She was one of the best and most prominent stage actresses of her time and had a successful stage career. She was made an OBE in the 2005 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for her liturgies to drama.
