Shatta Wale has announced yesterday 31st March his intention to quit music after the release of his highly rated Gift Of God Album.
His intention has triggered wild reactions from Ghanaians including one from his former Militant Joint 77 who quickly took advantage of the announcement to throw some shots at him.
According to Joint, unlike footballers who can’t boast of strength at old age to continue playing hence the need to retire, that simply doesn’t happen to musicians because even at the age of 70 your throat will be scratching you to sing.
He insists No real musician can ever think of retiring. “A real musician can never ?? retire O your throat go still scratch you at 70 if you still get the strength you go do am. Music no be football …. a great uncle once told me this and Itz real”
