Never look down on anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow

“Never” is the keyword as we journey through to our destination. We have individual life assignments and the path we are on is never the same therefore be cautious of the things you say about others.

You know something, more often than we should, we tend to see people who are not at our level in life as failures.

Sadly, we forget that whatever we’ve achieved and toiled for is due to the grace of God or sometimes because we have a favorable situation at home.

When your life begins to take an upward turn, be very careful with the way you see people who are lesser than you are.

The story of the hare and the tortoise must continue to ring bells in our heads every single day because the race is not for the fittest or well-prepared.

The hare boasted in his abilities and agility and why he believes he will reach the finish line long before the tortoise. To the hare, the tortoise moves slowly and such an effort is not a match to him but he forgot that no matter how slow the pace may be, the destination will still be reached.

The hare began the race on a high note and was miles ahead of the tortoise, he looked back and felt he has done enough and even if he was to sleep for a year, the tortoise will still not get anywhere close to him. It ended in tears for the hare.

Sadly, this story applies to our lives. Do not be a hare who has a false sense of superiority which in the end leads to his abysmal fall.

Life has a way of surprising us; whether pleasantly or unpleasantly. Keep moving and don’t stop. Be like the tortoise who heard all the discouraging voices coming from the naysayers but decided to put them behind him and forge ahead.

Your destiny, life and wealth will go well if you keep on moving slowly but steadily. And remember: LIFE IS A RACE BUT NOT A COMPETITION, BE IN A COMPETITION WITH YOURSELF AND IMPROVE.

YOU WILL MAKE IT.
