Nicholas Mark Naitanui, is an Australian rules football player who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was born on 4 May 1990, in Penrith, New South Wales.

Naitanui made his West Australian Football League (WAFL) debut in 2008 for the Swan Districts Football Club after playing for Western Australia in the AFL Under 18 Championships in 2007 and 2008. West Coast selected Naitanui with the second pick in the 2008 National Draft.

Naitanui made his AFL debut for West Coast, in the season’s 12th round against Richmond in 2009. In his first season, he played ten games and scored three goals against Hawthorn, earning him one Brownlow Medal vote.

Naitanui replaced Mark Seaby, a ruckman who had been traded the season before, in his second season, appearing in every game and serving mostly as Dean Cox’s backup. Naitanui finished fifth overall after starting the year as the favorite for the AFL Rising Star award.
