President of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Franklin Cudjoe thinks Free SHS is going to play a very huge role in the upcoming election and that is going to benefit the Incumbent Government.
He explained that, The biggest weapon going into the election is the policy that allows students at the secondary levels to go to to school free, hence that will potentially generate at least 500k votes for the Akufo-Addo led party.
“The NPP is very lucky, Free SHS is the game changer for them. Potentially, they have at least 500k free SHS votes” he wrote
He also thinks most of the SHS beneficiaries are first time voters and do not care about corruption issues. “These first time voters care less about corruption” he added
