Though he belongs to a business family, Paras wanted to go in acting and modeling line from a very young age. He started his modeling career at 20. The first reality show he participated in was the MTV youth show Splitsvilla season 5.
Not only did he manage to survive all the tasks and elimination rounds, but Paras surprised the audience by winning this show with Akansha Popli. Splitsvilla was one of the biggest projects and life-changing shows of Paras. He earned a lot of fame and followers from Splitsvilla.

Later on, Paras was introduced in Splitsvilla season 8 as a celebrity contestant. He participated in the same show, but couldn’t win this time. He made his acting debut in 2014 with M3 – Midsummer Midnight Mumbai. Paras, who played the part of Rahul, gave a brilliant performance in the movie.
