Rashard was born on June 14, 1977, in Mississippi, in the United States. He was selected by the Panthers during the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He was known to have appeared in several 12 games and recorded 21 tackles.
He was known to have ended the year 2001 which was a balling season with a total of 47 tackles and an interception in several 15 games to his credit.
After that season and quite inside the year May 23, 2002, he was known to have been suspended for a year by the NFL over a substance abuse violation policy at the time.
After his reinstatement from the sanction, he was released by the Panthers and went on to sign a contract in the year 2005 with the Canadian Football League team Calgary Stampeders.
