William Ray Guy was an American expert football player. Ray hailed from Swainsboro, Georgia which is located in the United States where Ray was born. Ray Guy was born on December 22, 1949. After becoming a soccer participant, Ray carried out as a punter for the Oakland / Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) where he spent the majority of his career until retirement.
Ray Guy obtained the reward as a unanimous All-American alternative in the year 1972. When Ray was a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi, he as well obtained his tertiary coaching.
Ray Guy became the first pure punter ever to be drafted inside the first spherical of the NFL Draft. This was after his alternative by the Oakland Raiders with the twenty-third basic select in the year 1973. Ray died on 3rd November 2022.
