Rennae Stubbs, an Australian tennis coach, television pundit, and former professional player, was born on March 26, 1971. Between 2011 and 2018, she worked for the Seven Network as a women’s match analyst. She is now a full-time commentator for ESPN tennis and the host of her own podcast, The Racquet Magazine podcast, which can be found at www.racquetmag.com. She held a scholarship from the Australian Institute of Sport.
Stubbs won two mixed-doubles titles in addition to four Grand Slam doubles titles. In 2000, she held the No. 1 doubles ranking in the world. She participated in four Olympic Summer Games in a row for Australia: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008.
From 1992 through the end of the 2010 WTA Tour, Stubbs won 60 doubles matches, more than any other Australian woman. She was successful with eleven different partners. Together with her regular partner Lisa Raymond, Stubbs won the season-ending WTA Championships in 2001, earning the title of ITF World Champion.
