Raul Dominguez Quizon is the youngest of six children born to Rodolfo Vera Quizon and former actress Engracita Dominguez on October 5, 1958. He is the youngest of twelve half-brothers and sisters.

Dolphy noticed Quizon’s performance as a guest in an episode of Dolphy’s Special and decided to cast him in John en Marsha alongside Director Ading Fernando.

He appeared in a number of films throughout his career, most of which were produced by RVQ Productions and in which he co-starred with Dolphy.
Quizon never married and kept his personal life and family private. From six different partnerships, he has 18 children.
Quizon was last seen in public on Friday when he fainted in a shop in Quezon City.

He is best known to Filipino television audiences for his role as Rolly Puruntong in the iconic sitcom “John En Marsha,” which also starred his father and the late Nida Blanca.

For his portrayal in Vilma Santos’ provocative film “Burlesk Queen,” directed by Celso Ad Castillo, he won the best actor award at the 1977 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Quizon had a stroke on March 9, 2018, and died on March 15.
