Ron Logan, a Disney legend, was the EVP and executive producer who transformed live entertainment in the company’s theme parks. On August 30, he passed away. Logan had numerous chances to interact with Walt Disney as a trumpet player who began his career at Disney.
Furthermore, he played the trumpets for fanfare during the Disney-produced spectacle for the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, California. He helped bring Beauty and the Beast to Broadway as well. Logan moved to Florida in 1978 to work as the Walt Disney World Resort’s music director before coming back to the theme park as its director of entertainment in 1980.
In 1982, he went back to the Walt Disney World Resort as vice president of entertainment before being promoted to vice president. Logan’s last role at Disney was EVP, executive producer, for Walt Disney Entertainment. Including its resorts, the Walt Disney Company In addition to creating all of the live entertainment for Disney Parks around the world, he also developed five Super Bowl halftime shows.

Logan passed away from old age. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Haney and Sheryl Logan (Michael Stewart), as well as by his grandsons Zachary, Adam, Cristian, Collin, Daniel, and Jackson.
