Former executive vice president of Walt Disney Entertainment, Ron Logan was born on February 9, 1938. (now Walt Disney Creative Entertainment). In Orlando, Florida, at the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Ron used to teach before he left the organization in 2001.

Growing up in Leavenworth, Kansas, Logan took trumpet, violin, piano, and dancing lessons. In the ninth grade, Logan started working as a trumpet player and singer, and since then, he has performed all over the country with bands and lounge acts on records, on television, and in movies. Ron Logan started working for Disney in the 1960s as a trumpet player at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California.

Logan was also the founding and first president of Disney Theatrical Productions, which produced Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and afterwards in other countries, and the executive vice president of the Walt Disney Special Events Group, Disney Special Programs, Inc., and the Walt Disney Special Events Group.
