Member of Parliament for Tongu in the Volta region, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has donated laptops to all Circuit Supervisors in his constituency.

Sharing photos from a short ceremony, he wrote on his Facebook page.

“It was the turn of all Circuit Supervisors (School Improvement Support Officers) in my beloved constituency to receive their laptops this morning as we continue with the Tongu MP’s Laptop Distribution Programme.

I also hosted a breakfast meeting to explore ways of enhancing our pandemic support system which ensures that students at home are constantly provided with reading materials and other innovative mechanisms aimed at meeting our objective of not leaving any child behind, particularly in rural communities where children are more disadvantaged in this Covid era.

It is my expectation that in addition to the new pick up truck for the District Directorate and the motorbikes I donated to all Circuit Supervisors some three ago, they will be better equipped to perform their critical functions leading to efficient monitoring and improved quality.”
