Shinzo Abe was born in September 21, 1954 in Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan. He was a renowned Japanese personality and politician.

He served as the Prime minister of Japan and the President of the Liberal Democratic Party from 2006 to 2007, and also from 2012 to 2020.

According to Japanese history, Shinzo is the longest-serving prime minister. He also served as a Chief cabinet secretary from 2005 to 2006 under Junichiro Koizumi and was a brief leader for the opposition in 2012.

Abe was married to Aki Matsuzaki, a socialite, and former popular radio disc hockey, in 1987. She was the daughter of the president of one of the big chocolate manufacturing companies, Morinaga.

Due to her outspoken public views which usually are seen to contradict her husband’s views she is popularly known as the “domestic opposition”.

She opened an organic izakaya in the Kanda district of Tokyo, following her husband’s first stint as the Japanese prime minister. However, due to the urging of her mother-in-law, she became inactive in the managerial activities of her company.

The couple had no children, having undergone unsuccessful fertility treatment in the early years of their marriage.
