Thomas Teye Partey, a professional footballer, was born in Krobo Odumase, Ghana, on June 13, 1993. He plays midfield for both Ghana’s national team and Arsenal of the Premier League.
With the Spanish team Atletico Madrid, he started his professional debut in 2013. Prior to returning to Atletico in 2015, he spent time on loan at Mallorca and the United States.
In 2018, he represented Atletico Madrid and won both the UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Europa League. When Partey moved to Arsenal in 2020 for £45 million (€50 million), he became the most expensive Ghanaian player of all time.
In three Africa Cups of Nations, in 2017, 2019, and 2021, he participated as Ghana’s representative. His selection for the CAF Team of the Year in 2018 was made.
In 2018 and 2019, he had the honour of being named Ghana Player of the Year.
