At the beginning of next year, Warren East will be replaced as the CEO of the legendary Rolls Royce by Tufan Erginbilgic, a former BP executive and an engineer.
Tufan, an engineer by trade, has worked with BP for more than 20 years, including five of those years as a member of the executive team.
In his last role before leaving the firm in 2020, he headed BP’s downstream business, which included refining, petrochemicals, the service station network, lubricants, midstream activities, and the Air BP jet fuel division, since he joined the company in 1997.
Currently, Tufan Erginbilgic has non-executive directorships in the global manufacturer of commercial vehicles Iveco Group NV, the energy company Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A., and the businesses DCC plc, which operates in the fields of energy, healthcare, and technology.
