American sportscaster Vincent Edward Scully was born on November 29, 1927 in the Bronx, New York. He is a broadcaster who spent about 67 seasons as the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game announcer. He also worked for the CBS radio for 7 years then later joined NBC sports for about 6 years.
He was well-known for his distinctive voice, poetically poetic writing, and trademark pregame remarks for Dodgers games and considered as the greatest broadcaster of all time in the baseball league.

For his legendary contribution to the sports, he received many awards like the Ford C. Frick Award, Hollywood Hall of Famer, and had his Los Angeles Dodgers microphone being retired in his honour.

Renowned Major League Baseball commentator Vincent Edward Scully commonly known as Vin Scully passed away on 2nd August 2022. He was 94 years when he passed away.
