Alan Rankine has had a thing with music bands since his career inception.

Alan Rankine commenced his career with a band group called “cabaret band Caspian”, which was later renamed “The Associates”. Alan Rankine and the band were able to release three albums to their credit. In the year 1982, Alan Rankine was known to have exited from the band at the time when they were having what was known as the “Sulk tour”
