Damar Hamlin is a McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania native from the United States who was reportedly said to have collapsed on the field of play after he was known to have suffered a cardiac arrest in the course of when he collided with an opponent. Reports coming in indicate that he remains in a critical condition at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical center at the intensive care unit after he became unresponsive at around 8:55 pm. According to the officials, he is known to be receiving treatment due to his critical state at the facility.
The family of Damar Hamlin expressed their sincere gratitude to the general public for the support they have been receiving especially for several fans who were able to donate $4 million to his charity fund. The statement below was an appreciative message from the family;
