As a trumpet musician who started his career at Disney, Logan had several opportunities to interact with Walt Disney. Additionally, he participated in the Disney-produced pageantry for the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, California, by playing the fanfare trumpets.
After leaving for Florida in 1978 to take the position of music director at Walt Disney World Resort, Logan went back to work at Disneyland in 1980 as the park’s director of entertainment. In 1982, he relocated once more to the Walt Disney World Resort in the capacity of VP Entertainment. In 1987, he received a promotion to VP of Creative Show Development for all Walt Disney Attractions.
