A tweet from Wendy Shay has triggered insults from tweeps with some describing her as a ‘sick’, ‘childish’ and ‘dumb’ individual whose ultimate aim is to make ‘senseless’ statements to trend.

The RuffTown artiste, on Saturday, tweeted at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, urging him to invite her to the Jubilee House just as he did to dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.

About two years ago, Shatta Wale paid a visit to the president. This came on the heels of a birthday wish the president sent to the dance hall artiste via twitter.

“Your Excellency, Tuesday is my birthday… what are you giving me,” Shatta Wale tweeted ahead of his 33rd birthday?

“Happy birthday, Shatta Wale. You come to visit me for Flagstaff House o!” the president responded.

At his meeting, Shatta Wale showed the president an international award he won and also asked him to fulfill all the promise he made to creative artists during the 2016 elections.

Wendy Shay believes the gesture should be extended to her because she is the queen of Ghana music.

“Dear @NAkufoAddo, we appreciate the love you’ve shown towards creative art. I plead that as you invited the King @shattawalegh the same way you can invite the Queen of Gh Music @wendyshaygh. The industry is not being fair to GH female Artist… We know you can help,” her tweet read.

After tweeting that these were the savage reactions she received from some users:
