According to The Cinemaholic, IsAnyoneUp.com was shut down in April 2012 after Hunter Moore sold the website domain to a web entrepreneur named James McGibney.

McGibney paid a small fee for it and used it to redirect users to BullyVille, an anti-bullying website. McGibney ran the site, which allowed users to share stories about how they had been bullied, drawing attention to the issue that IsAnyoneUp had helped to facilitate.

Those who visit the site now will be redirected to McGibney’s personal website.

According to Cosmopolitan, Hunter Moore was arrested in 2014 by the FBI on charges of conspiracy, unauthorized access to a protected computer, and aggravated identity theft.

He pleaded guilty to aggravated identity theft and unauthorised access of a computer.
