Sayer returned to the top of the UK Singles Chart on February 12, 2006, with DJ Meck’s remix of “Thunder In My Heart.” It was his first appearance in the UK Top 10 in nearly twenty-four years, and his second chart-topper in the UK nearly three decades after his first. On March 6, 2006, Leo Sayer: At His Very Best, a career-spanning compilation album, was released in the United Kingdom.
