In March, his final album, “?” arrived at No. 1 on the Billboard albums chart, and a single from the album, “SAD!” rose to No. 1 on the Billboard singles chart following his death.
XXXTentacion, on the other hand, was a divisive figure due to charges of violent violence and abuse levelled against him by a former partner, who said he mercilessly beat and tortured her.
While many music fans couldn’t stand him because of his alleged history of violence, his legions of fans either didn’t believe the allegations or were willing to forgive him, with the general consensus among those fans being that he was a young man who had made mistakes in the past but was working to improve his life.
Onfroy was fatally shot in his car as he drove away from the RIVA Motorsports business in Deerfield Beach on June 18.
