The movie ‘Wonder’ is a sure lionsgate magic and a testament to that is the movie’s global list of admirers. It has a plot with a boy who is central to a chain of events in the movie and in the movie, the audience is given a true image of what is actually going on in the world where thousands and thousands of kids are unable to have a normal life due to the stigma they’re painted with.

Auggie in this classic of a movie is that boy who has to undergo a total of 27 surgeries so he could ‘see, hear, smell and speak’ and these are things he ordinarily shouldn’t do due to a rather ruthless medical condition.

What is the syndrome in Wonder?

Auggie in ‘Wonder’ was born with a deformity that made him not the usual type of kid who should ordinarily see, smell, hear and speak but this was the brutal fate of Auggie. His was a syndrome known as Franceschetti–Klein which basically causes harm to one’s face.
