She had previously been able to regain control of her kingdom, but now she was in danger of losing it once more.

During the time of her reign, Pharaoh Nefertiti had practically complete authority over Egypt’s eastern Mediterranean coast, which was the last large kingdom ruled by any Egyptian ruler.

She held sway over the events that would transpire in the Western world for a fleeting moment. She had four sons and a daughter with one man, and a son and a daughter with the other man she was married to at the time.

When did Cleopatra marry Ptolemy XIV?

Cleopatra was reinstated to her reign after she had completed her marriage to her brother Ptolemy XIV. Ptolemy Caesar was born to her in June of 47 BCE; the residents of Alexandria referred to him as Caesarion, which literally translates to “little Caesar.”

It is not possible to determine at this time if Caesar was, in fact, the father of Caesarion, as his name suggests.
