Ric Flair is best known for his work with Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, subsequently WWE), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNAW) (TNA). Ric Flair spent the majority of his career in JCP and WCW, where he won multiple titles. Ric Flair has been known as “The Nature Boy” since the mid-1970s. Flair was a big pay-per-view draw throughout his career, having headlined the main annual NWA/WCW event, Starrcade, eleven times, as well as co-headlining its WWF equivalent, WrestleMania, in 1992, after winning the Royal Rumble that year. PWI named him Wrestler of the Year six times in a row, while Wrestling Observer Newsletter named him Wrestler of the Year eight times in a row (an award named after him and Lou Thesz). Ric Flair is the first two-time inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, having been recognized in 2008 for his individual career and again in 2012 as a member of The Four Horsemen.
