“When I started discussing sensitive sexual matters on air, I was seen as the devil and humiliated many times” – Akumaa Mama Zimbi

Relationship coach and serial sexologist, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, has shared her sorry of how she was perceived as the devil simply because she talked about sex candidly on air.

According to the popular broadcaster and host of ‘Odo Ahomaso’ on Adom TV, her friends and loved ones began to shun her company because they believe a Christian must not be talking about sensitive sexual issues publicly.

Speaking during an interview on Adom FM, Mama Zimbi said she had been humiliated on several occasions and there was a time when she went to a program and nobody wanted to sit close to her.

“I went to a programme and there was a lady I sat by. Immediately she realized that I was the one, she decide to move to a different seat.

When I statrted educating and discussing sexual issues on air, many said I am the devil. They beleiev that with the work I do and what I discuss, disqualifies me from rolling with them.

Because of the tag on me as a ‘sex teacher’ I have suffered so many embarassments on countless ocassions by people I did not expect it from.They feel the are Angels,” she said.

Akumaa Mama Zimbi is one of the pioneers of the hosting of adult talk shows in Ghana and she has carved a name for herself as the most experienced and knowledgeable woman as far as sex, relationship and marriage matters are concerned.
