Van Conner is known to be a rock musician from the United States who was reported to have passed away today on January 18, 2023. Born on March 17, 1967, in Apple Valley, California in the United States, is known for his bassist’s stance in Co-founding “the influential hard-rock group Screaming Trees”. The musician who passed away at the age of 55 was the leading contributing factor to the success of the “Screaming Trees” band group. The group is known to have released several albums, especially on Velvetone. Van Conner’s brother by the name Mark Pickerel also was known to have died the year before Van Conner’s death. When the band set up their new record label SST Records in the late 80s, their first album was titled “Uncle Anesthesia”. According to Van Conner before his death, they never thought after getting signed things will materialize.
“When we first signed, they didn’t know what to do with us,” Van Conner told SPIN in 2012. “We were in the Epic Records heavy metal department. We were on a compilation called something like Blazing Metal, with bands like Winger. They learned from Nirvana how to promote us.”
