Van Conner was also a member of Gardener VALIS, and Solomon Grundy music bands. Conner worked on albums such as Solomon Grundy, New Dawning Time, Minds Through Space and Time, Nearly Lost You, Invisible Lantern, and Head Full of Pills, among others.
Van Conner passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of fifty-five years old. Conner was said to have died of pneumonia.
