Douglas Irvin Pederson is an American football coach, who was a former quarterback, and current head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), he was born on January 31, 1968.

Pederson, who played for the Green Bay Packers, was a member of the squad that won the Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXI, he spent the majority of his 13-season playing career, serving as Brett Favre’s backup. ‘

Prior to his retirement in 2004, he started for the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles as a starter and served as Dan Marino’s backup on the Miami Dolphins.
