Lattanzi met Olivia Newton-John while making the movie Xanadu, and they were married in 1984. Chloe Rose Lattanzi, the couple’s only child, was born on January 17, 1986. His acting career was virtually finished by 1993, so he accepted a position as a contractor for a California house construction business. In 1993, Lattanzi and Newton-John relocated to their property in Australia so that he could attend a Paradise Beach soap opera audition. For the program, he was awarded a six-month contract.
