She is known for her variety of musical style, dynamic rhyming flow, alter personas, and accents. She is regarded as a key figure in pop cultur, and she became famous, after putting out three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009.
The track “Super Bass” from Minaj’s debut album, Pink Friday (2010), peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 list and was given a diamond certification by the RIAA.
Pink Friday also topped the US Billboard 200 chart. With its lead single “Starships” landing in the top five globally, Minaj’s follow-up album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (2012) explored dance-pop and debuted at the top of the Billboard 200.
