Who is Asmaa Zidan?

Asmaa Zidan was working as a contractor at SafetyClerk. She was severely criticized by the people for her actions and several individuals reported her act to her employer.

In the recent update, she has been terminated from her organization for her actions. As the video of her went viral, several X users reacted to it.

One user wrote, “What the hell has happened to women? While this behavior is not exclusive to them, they are far outpacing the men. It’s weird.”

“The signs are an homage of sorts, they don’t serve a purpose of finding someone. Tearing them down is a statement that is just ridiculous to make. She needs to be held accountable.” another user wrote.

One X user tweeted, “What on earth is really wrong with the people who remove those posters? I just can’t get my head around it.😢”

Antisemitic incidents in the US surged by around 400% in less than two weeks following the outbreak of the Middle East crisis on October 7 as a result of an attack on Israel by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Preliminary data from the ADL Center on Extremism indicates that 312 incidents of violence, vandalism, and harassment directed towards Jews were documented in the US between October 7 and October 23. Of them, about 190 had a direct bearing on the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel.

The ongoing conflict has led the U.S. Justice Department to announce that it is closely monitoring the increasing threats aimed at Muslims and Jews. Antisemitism and Islamophobia have been strongly opposed by President Joe Biden.
