Deborah James was as a journalist, educator, charity campaigner and podcast host who hosted the You, Me and the Big C podcast in 2018 which was aired on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Deborah James was diagnosed of bowel cancer in 2016 which urged her to begin with the podcast show and also the social media handles by the name Bowelbabe.
She was also a columnist for The Sun, where she made public her cancer ordeal.
James was honoured as the Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
She passed away on 28 June 2022 at the age of 40 years in Woking, Surrey, England.
She left behind her husband Sebastien Bowen and two children by the names Hugo Bowen and Eloise Bowen.
