He is best known for his roles as Fox Crane on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions (2002–2006), Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on The CW television series Smallville (2006–2011), and Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless (2014–2016), for which he received an Emmy nomination.

Chrishell Stause Early life

Hartley was born in Galesburg, Illinois, while his family was living in Knoxville, Illinois. He grew up in Orland Park, a Chicago suburb, with his brother Nathan and sisters Megan and Gabriela.

After graduating from Carl Sandburg High School, he went on to study history and theatre at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Chrishell Stause Career

From 2002 to 2006, Justin Hartley portrayed Fox Crane on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions. He starred as Aquaman in a television pilot for The CW titled Aquaman (or Mercy Reef) in 2006, but it was not picked up as a series.

Later that year, Hartley appeared in seven episodes of the CW series Smallville as billionaire Oliver Queen.

Following the departures of Kristin Kreuk, Michael Rosenbaum, Laura Vandervoort, and John Glover, he returned to Smallville as a regular cast member in 2008.

Who is Chrishell Stause’s ex-husband Justin Hartley?

Hartley and Stause’s representation confirmed their relationship in January 2014, and they announced their engagement in July 2016. On October 28, 2017, they married.

Hartley and Stause were residents of Valley Glen in Los Angeles. Hartley filed for divorce in November 2019, citing irreconcilable differences.

In December 2019, Stause filed for divorce from his wife. On February 22, 2021, the divorce was finalized.
