A woman allegedly pulled out a gun inside Dallas Love Field Airport and began shooting upwards in the late early hours of Monday. Her activities resulted in numerous flight cancellations lasting several hours.
Portia Odufuwa, 37, was dropped off at the airport shortly before 11 a.m., according to Dallas Chief of Police Eddie Garcia, and changed clothing after entering the building.
The woman is said to have entered the restroom, changed into a hoodie or something, pulled out a revolver, and began shooting multiple shots.
According to Garcia, it appeared that most rounds were aimed at the ceiling.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness, Colby James, told NBC 5 on Monday afternoon that he was present when the woman pulled out a gun and began shooting.
The witness further stated that he overheard Odufuwa alleging that her spouse was having an extramarital affair.
