The current holder of the title Duke of Kent is Prince Edward and his heir apparent is George Windsor, Earl of St. Andrews a title he holds by virtue of being the heir apparent.

George Windsor was born on 26 June 1962 and the eldest son of Prince Edward and the Duchess of Kent, Katharine Worsley.

George Windsor is married to Sylvana Tomaselli, a Canadian and has three children; Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick and his sisters Lady Marina and Lady Amelia.

He is currently the Chancellor of the University of Bolton.
