The Miami Dolphins are a professional football team which was established on August 16, 1965, in Miami, United States of America. It was formed by Joe Robbie and Danny Thomas, an attorney-politician and comedian respectively and currently being owned by Stephen M Ross. The team is currently 56 years old.

The Miami Dolphins compete in the National Football League (NFL) having made its debut NFL game in the 1966 season which was American Football League (AFL) in those days. Hard Rock Stadium is the home of the team where it plays its home games. The team is currently being coached by Mike McDaniel.

Why are the Dolphins being punished?

The Miami Dolphins were punished during the week for using an “unprecedented” tampering in their failed pursuits of Tom Brady, their quarterback and Sean Payton, their former head coach. The Miami Dolphins were stripped of two draft picks and the owner of the team, Stephen Ross has been fined by the National Football League.

However, the investigation of the NFL has revealed that the Dolphins did not fail intentionally.
