Kay is set to embark on a huge comeback tour in 2023, years after cancelling a Live Arena Tour and stepping out of the public eye.
The comedian, 48, is reported to have come up with a new stage show which he will take across the country next year. Peter Kay is a self-proclaimed homebody and family man who would rather be at home with his family than out doing shows.
Why Has Peter Kay Stopped Appearing?
In December 2017 Kay announced that he would be taking a step back from the spotlight, cancelling his Live Arena Tour as well as all of his upcoming work projects due to “unforeseen family circumstances”.
In a statement posted on his Twitter, he said: “Due to unforeseen family circumstances I deeply regret that I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects.
“This unfortunately includes my upcoming stand-up tour, Dance For Life shows, and any outstanding live work commitments.
